How to stay relevant as a Chinese-Indonesian restaurant
King’s Palace in Oud-Beijerland is a typical Chinese-Indonesian restaurant that you can find in The Netherlands. Renowned among the elderly and still loved by many, we see these restaurant disappear and make way for all-you-can-eat sushi and other types of restaurants.
By creating a new strategy based on design thinking methods we developed a new menu combining the traditional Chinese-Indonesian dishes with novel fusion tapas that are served at your table. This was combined with a redesign of the restaurants and marketing materials such as flyers and online advertisements.
